Welcome to my online diary. vintage lillies has been a lot of different things. When I started this blog during the summer before I entered high school, it was a private space for me to share my outfits, shot on my iPhone 3, and my writing, which was mostly just me waxing poetic about my boring rural *teen* life and using way too many exclamation points. I kept it public; my mom, dad, and a few family friends knew the link. I guess I wanted strangers to read it, but please, just not anyone from school.
Over time, vintage lillies has been my space to pretend I was a model, pretend I was a stylist, pretend I was a writer. Only one of those fantasies persevered, though I love a good iPhone photography model shot here and there.
Every so often, I consider starting fresh. I contemplate making a new blog, one that’s name is spelled right, and one that doesn’t have a treasure trove of puberty pictures on it. But I still haven’t. So please respect my privacy and don’t revisit 2013. Nobody needs to revisit 2013.
I also write for here: The Buffalo News Gusto, which is fun and pays better!
