Welcome to my online diary. vintage lillies has been a lot of different things. When I started this blog during the summer before I entered high school, it was a private space for me to share my outfits, shot on my iPhone 3, and my writing, which was mostly just me waxing poetic about my boring rural *teen* life and using way too many exclamation points. I kept it public; my mom, dad, and a few family friends knew the link. I guess I wanted strangers to read it, but please, just not anyone from school.

Over time, vintage lillies has been my space to pretend I was a fashion model, pretend I was a stylist, pretend I was a writer. Only one of those fantasies persevered, though I love a good iPhone photography glamour shot here and there.

Every so often, I consider starting fresh. I contemplate making a new blog, one with a name that is spelled right and one that doesn’t have a treasure trove of puberty pictures on it. But I still haven’t. So please respect my privacy and don’t revisit 2013. Nobody needs to revisit 2013.

I also write for here: The Buffalo News Gusto, which is fun and pays better!

Hi. I just wanted to let you know someone is using your pictures from this blog on a fake Facebook account. If you want to know the name of the “person” so you can report it, I have a link to their account.

Hey! I found your website and fell in love. I have been wanting to create a website for a while. I created a wordpress account called vintagelilacs.wordpress.com ( my photography acount on instagram is @vintage_lilacs . and has been for awhile im not stealing your username or anything.) so I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to create this website and maybe check mine out?

Hi! Thank you very much I’m glad you like my website! I checked out your blog and instagram, they’re very nice! You’re very good at photography! My advice to you would be to update your blog with more of your photography, and in all of your outfit posts try to include at least one full body shot, therefore people can see your whole outfit! Other than that, just make sure you post what you love and have fun doing it! Good luck! 🙂
