This past weekend has been amazing. It’s been sunny and warm (at least warm for February) and Dave and I have been taking full advantage of it! We’ve tried new restaurants (and ate wayyy too much food), a comedy club (so hilarious!!) and done lots of walking and discovering things. It’s funny how many people are out and about when the weather is nice. It’s like everyone comes out of their little winter hiding spot to finally see the sun. And we snapped some outfit photos where I finally don’t have to wear a million layers, yay!
I know it’s a little early and eager to write about spring, but since this weekend has felt like spring, I wanted to share one of my absolute favorite outfit combination for the transition season. Stripes, denim, and a trenchcoat.
I’ve written about my love for trenchcoats before, and this trench which I’ve had for around five years has been featured countless times. They’re just my favorite what can I say!? Nothing says spring like a trench and what better way to wear it than the classic Parisian take on it, stripes and jeans?
Stripes are timeless and not only will they probably never go out of style, but they always add a classic touch. Combine that with the effortlessness of a trench and you just can’t go wrong. You could also style this with a leather jacket for an edgier look or for nighttime. I wore my favorite pair of light jeans, but I’m on the lookout for a great pair of boyfriend jeans. I’ve been looking for boyfriend jeans for a couple years now and can never seem to find a pair that fit just how I want them to. If anyone knows of any, let me know!
Hope you all have been enjoying your weekend, and have a fabulous week!
