Simply Wonderful Christmastime

Merry Christmas guys! I hope you had an amazing holiday! Mine was really, really nice this year. We went to my Aunt’s house on Christmas Eve Eve and had a great time with everyone and my little cousin. We played hide and seek for at least an hour and since that’s still my favorite game ever I was having a blast. On Christmas Eve we went to Dave’s parents’ house and ate dinner, opened presents, hung out with his family and played with his nieces. They are so adorable and I’m so happy there are kids in our families because they make parties so much more fun!

On Christmas Day we slept in and then immediately woke to open presents. We have a new tradition that started with my birthday where Dave hides my presents all over the apartment and I have to go on a scavenger hunt for them. Luckily these were a bit easier to find this time. Last time we had to take a dinner break because some of them were so well hidden! I got some lovely presents including ice skates which I’m SO excited to break in! Then I made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and we left for my parents house. We had an awesome day with them opening presents and eating and playing games. We had a really intense game of monopoly, a game that brings out my competitive side a lot. Every time I play a board game I realize how much I absolutely love them! If anyone has good board game recommendations please let me know!

Overall, it was a wonderful Christmas and I’m so happy to have spent it with my family. I hope you all had an amazing one too and are ready for a great new year!

Love, Francesca

you and the little girl are so similar – how cute 🙂 your Christmas outfits are beautiful by the way – especially that red dress with lace sleeves. you should make an outfit post with it one day. Christmas of 2016 indeed was lovely. we visited my grandparents, parents and my husband’s parents in their homes and my parents also visited us in our home. and of course I loved giving and getting presents, hehe 🙂
