“Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance.” Coco Chanel

You may remember when I showed to you a certain cat flat, around a year ago. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the cat flat’s cousin, the bunny flat!
And what better day to wear bunny flats then Easter? I received these flats for Christmas, but since it was pretty snowy this winter, this has been my first chance to break out the flats!

This past week I have been on another Spring break, which has been absolutely lovely. I didn’t actually have time off from school when I went to Florida, so I had to make all of that work up. But hey, c’est la vie right? This week, we shopped, went to museums, ate out, and I caught up on many TV shows that I had not had time to watch before. I also got my learner’s permit so now I can drive! I’m horrible though, I need a lot more practice. Don’t worry though, my dad won’t let me leave empty parking lots until I prove I’m worthy. While we were out one day, I also discovered my new  favorite Starbucks drink which you MUST try if you go to Starbucks and want something super refreshing. It’s the passion shaken iced tea (I think) and it is delicious.

I also did a major overhaul of my closet, and that was no small feat. I definitely held on to way to many clothes I would never wear again, and it felt really nice to finally donate and give them away so they will go to good homes. Sometimes you buy clothes, and wear them a lot and then realize that clothes you once loved are just no longer your style. That’s when you give them new life by giving them away. It’s the circle of style. Well no it’s not, I made that up, but it sounds cool if you sing it to the Lion King tune.

So yeah, my closet is now more regular sized, and more efficiently stocked. This brings us to the above quote by Coco Chanel, about simplicity. That was my mantra for the week. Simplicity is the key to an organized wardrobe, and also an organized, happy spring break. And I suppose you could go one step further and say life? But let’s not get too crazy. 🙂

Hope you had an amazing Easter!

Love, Francesca

Ahh those shoes are too cute! 🙂 Rabbits are one of my favorite animals (as well as dogs otherwise mine will get offended if I don’t add that, hehe)…I had like 3 rabbits when I was little but the one I had the longest was a grey french lop earred bunny who was the best! He lived to be like 12 years old & I’ll never forget him.

P.S. I totally sang “circle of style” to the Lion King tune and I quite like it. 😉

P.P.S. Congrats on getting your drivers permit! I am pathetic to admit this but I got my license like several years ago and pretty much have never driven since then. I just can’t handle aggressive California drivers & I really need to get over it because it’s becoming quite a fear… yup, pathetic.

Francesca!! I’ve loved keeping up with you via instagram and now I’m so happy to finally catch up on your blog! It’s reassuring to know that I’m not the only one who can’t post super regularly–high school student schedules for the win haha.

Anyways, I saw this a while back and was absolutely enamored with the sunset photos and color scheme of your outfit. The whole thing really just exudes style and confidence. Those bunny shoes really are the perfect touch! I may have to get myself a pair haha.

Also, those vacation photos are stunning! Florida really is an incredible place. I’m sorry to hear about your sunburn–I’m going North for school next year, so I’ll have to worry about problems after adjusting to the cold. Now I’m just concerned about getting too dark haha.

Congrats on your learner’s permit! Everyone isn’t so great at first, but I’m sure you’ll improve quickly. Learning is definitely a fun adventure.

That iced tea sounds great! I’ll have to try it next time. I personally love the seasonal peach green tea lemonade. Hope summer comes soon for you girl, and best of luck with whatever school you have left!
